PCSHomes exists to help military families move to Fort Drum. This page says, in plain language, what we collect, why, and who ever sees it.
What we collect
- What you type into a form: your name, phone or email, and whatever you choose to tell us (duty station, timeline, budget, the town you're interested in).
- How you found us: forms record the referring page and campaign tags so we know which of our own pages actually help people.
- On your device only: the site remembers your move stage and whether you've already seen our one popup. That stays in your browser; we never receive it.
We do not run advertising trackers and we do not use tracking cookies.
Why we collect it
One reason: so a real person can respond to what you asked for within 24 hours. That's the whole model. We don't build profiles and we don't retarget you around the internet.
Who sees it
- The PCSHomes team member handling your request.
- The one professional you asked to be connected with, for example a real estate agent. We pass along what you gave us so you don't have to repeat yourself.
- Nobody else. We never sell or rent your information, and we never share it with anyone you didn't ask about.
Services we rely on
Like most sites, we use a few providers to run. When pages load, these services see standard technical data such as your IP address:
- Netlify hosts the site and stores form submissions.
- OpenFreeMap / OpenMapTiles serve the map images on our guide pages.
- Google Fonts and public code libraries (cdnjs, jsDelivr) serve fonts and standard scripts.
We don't currently run a visitor counter. If we add one, it will be a cookie-free counter that cannot identify you, and we'll say so here.
How long we keep it
Form submissions stay in our form inbox so we can follow through on your request and pick the thread back up if you return mid-move. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
Your choices
- You can use every guide, calculator, and map on this site without giving us anything.
- Want your info corrected or deleted? Call or text (315) 221-4857 or use the contact form and tell us. We'll confirm when it's done.
Children
This site is written for adults running a military move. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We won't quietly expand what we collect.
